Danny Boy is the major reason LARC went to Alaska to rescue of 29 wolves and wolf-dogs. After contacting the Alaska State Attorney General’s office to ask for a reprieve for these animals, LARC was invited to meet the wolves to decide if they could come to our sanctuary. After meeting Danny Boy, the decision was easily made. Danny Boy was sitting on the chain that held him and when we passed by he leapt up and grabbed us with his paws. We told Danny Boy that he and all of his pack were coming to LARC and he has shown us his gratitude ever since. Danny Boy lives in a large outdoor habitat with his half-sister Sheba.
